In a shocking incident in Maharashtra’s Beed district, a man was charred to death on Thursday after his motorcycle collided with another bike, but passers-by neither stopped to help nor informed the police. In a video that has gone viral, it can be clearly seen that instead of rushing to help the victim on fire, bystanders were recording videos.

The other biker, Nitin Ajaykumar Jaiswal, 23, also succumbed to his injuries in hospital. But the deceased who was charred could not be identified since even the number plate of his bike was charred on the spot.

According to the police, the incident took place at around 5 pm on Thursday at Majalgaon, NH 222, when the two bikes collided. One of them was carrying alcohol with him, which, along with fuel leaking from the bike, caught fire in the accident.

Following the collision, the unidentified deceased person lost consciousness, with the bike lying on him, and was engulfed by the flames.

The police were alerted an hour after the incident, after which they rushed to the spot and collected the remains of the bodies.

Meanwhile, motorists continued on their way without stopping to assist. By the time the police arrived at the scene, the biker was charred to death. According to the police, not a single pedestrian rushed to help or put out the fire that had engulfed the man. Local residents later took Jaiswal to a hospital, leaving the other deceased behind. The police were informed about the incident only then.
