Arjun Kapoor's gym demolished in Juhu

The BMC's K/West ward on Monday finally demolished an unauthorised gymnasium constructed by actor Arjun Kapoor on the terrace of his home in Juhu. Last week, Kapoor had requested civic authorities to allow him to bring down the gymnasium on his own. However, on Monday, BMC demolished the entire 30X16 square feet structure on the terrace of Raheja Orchid in Juhu, after actor failed to demolish it.

On December 29, Arjun Kapoor had requested the Assistant Municipal Commissioner of K/West ward, Parag Masurkar, to allow him to dismantle his equipment from the gymnasium. The actor also agreed to demolish the gym ''on his own". Civic sources say the actor had only shifted his equipment to ensure they do not get damaged.

The ward office slapped two notices on the actor earlier. In the third notice, Kapoor was warned of demolition action.
