Ambadve village in Ratnagiri, the home town of the father of Indian constitution Dr BR Ambedkar, will soon be able to show with pride video recording of important incidents in his life in 3D animation format.
Rajya Sabha MP Amar Sable has adopted Ambadve as part of Sansad Adarsh Gram, ie the scheme under which every MP has been asked to adopt a village and convert it in to an ideal one. Sable said he has decided to do the animation video recording as part of his birthday (February 7) resolution.
Sable informed that he has collected videos of important incidents that shaped Ambedkar's leadership; these, he added, he will convert into 3D animation ones and screen for the villagers. He said that in Ratnagiri it was the Chavdaar Tale or sweet water lake Satyagraha that was the turning point in Ambedkar's life.
Sable also said that the incidents through which Ambedkar exhibited his determination to defy the system and established norms in the society would be exhibited at Ambadve in a bid to convey to the masses the legend's contribution.
