Jerrit G John, who the police are in search of after he allegedly threw a hazardous chemical at a girl recently, had once wanted to be a combat pilot.

However, he shelved this dream of his after his love for the camera got him a break with a popular television channel. He went on to become the creator of the ‘Behind the scenes’ concept used on Indian television.

A member of the cyclists’ group of which John is a part has uploaded a blog post with a few details about John’s life.

According to the post, John has worked as a creative consultant with television channels and with ad filmmakers, and later formed his own production house — No Nonsense Productions. He was also associated with a few Bollywood movies. The blog stated that his work was also appreciated at the Berlin Film Festival.

“John is a highly-educated person, and his behaving in such a manner is simply shocking. As soon as I found out about the incident, I put up his photograph on the internet so that he could be identified. He should be put behind bars for what he has done,” said Kamayani Bali Mahabal, also a member of the cyclists’ group.

“I know both the victim and the accused. The fact remains that there are six witnesses and they are all friends of the two. I know they are going to stand by her. Now, the police have to work fast on this case and get hold of John,” Mahabal added.
