AAP dombivli up against increased petrol and diesel rates

The latest decision of central government to increase rates of Petrol and Diesel have not gone well with many residents and opposition parties. In wake of the recent increase Aam Admi Party (AAP), Dombivli organised signature campaign for people to express their displeasure on the increase.

In recent decision Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government had increased petrol by Rs 3.13 and diesel by Rs 2.71.

Deepak Dubey member from AAP Dombivli shares "Main motive of the campaign was to increase awareness among residents about how pricing is decided in global market. The onlookers were explained about the price pattern by AAP volunteers, so that people there after can forward message to others"

Deepak further adds "In a quest to keep stay connected with people, PM Modi has made various feedback sites where in people can either write their grievances or their feedbacks. Once people know about pricing pattern of diesel and petrol they can write to PM which would force him to roll back his decision."

Vinay Shekhar a resident shares "Though protest on any price rise is common and we have also observed that government never roll back its decision. But when petrol prices are low in global market then it should be slashed, and if prices are in sync with global rates then why they are not increased and slashed accordingly"

Residents feel that with effort of AAP an awareness could be generated and netozens can use the information to spread word.

People even alleged that when it comes to increase in petrol rates, it is increased by rupees two or three, while when it comes to slash rates it is done in paise.
