At one corner of the Bandra Reclamation ground where 'The lil Flea' flea market is taking place, a pop-up pet cafe has put up their stall for the city's pooches. Claiming to be the only one in the city, Mutt Hutt has its bowl full with doggy activities.

Finding it difficult to locate pet-friendly places in the city, sisters Trupti Zaveri and Bhakti Bhukanwala started this venture for their dog Bandit. "We are trying to make Mumbai a pet-friendly city. We have certified trainers and animal behaviorists, along with pet grooming, pet photography and more," said Trupti, who began this endeavour in July 2013 and already has over 600 registered pet parents.

A few steps ahead, Harley's Corner owner Ishmeet Chandiok has levelled up from just being a doggy dabbawala. Arranging a three-course gourmet meal for the dogs who have arrived for the 5-7 pm signature session, he said, "Many dogs suffer from renal failure these days. It is caused by the accumulation of crystallised bones which are found in packaged pet food. I began this service after I noticed that my own dog Harley likes eating human food more than the dry pellets. Today, we create food with retort technology where the shelf life of the food is one year and is healthy for dogs."

Harley's Corner provides food to places like Pune, Goa, Gujarat and Bangalore and serves over 20 dabbas a day. The gourmet meal includes veg and non-veg options complete with dessert.
