The Scorpio then flipped thrice before crashing into the wall surrounding Papdi lake.

Amey died immediately, while his friends Abhijit and Amit succumbed to their injuries en route to the hospital. Five others, who were critically injured, were rushed to Bangli Hospital by the police with the help of locals.

The death toll may increase as all the injured persons are said to be in very critical condition.
