20-year-old kills schoolgirl, performs sex on her body

The Valiv police have arrested a 20-year-old man for allegedly killing a 12-year-old schoolgirl and performing sex on her body. The minor had gone missing on January 17 and her semi-nude body was found a day later.

Accused Rahul Tumbda has told the police that he tricked the girl by offering her a lift. He took her to a desolate place and gagged her. While the girl died of suffocation, Tumbda went ahead and had sex with the body, said the police.

The police said both Tumbda and the girl are from a on Mumbai Ahmedabad Highway. While the girl studied in Std VI, Tumbda works in Vasai. The cops have found several porn clips from the cellphone of the necrophiliac.

The girl’s body was found on January 18, a day she was reported missing. The cops found that the minor had bled from her private parts. A probe revealed sexually assault.

The police said after giving the girl a ride on his bike, Tumbda covered her mouth and dragged her deep into the bushes. “It seems she tried to escape as there were struggle marks on her body. Despite knowing that she had suffocated to death, he had sex with the body,” said senior inspector Rajendra Mohite.

When a police team visited the spot with sniffer dogs, the canines took them towards the village.

Mohite said, “We were sure the rapist was from the village. When we questioned locals, we came across Tumbda.”

Tumbda had few bruises on his body but he could not give satisfactory answers as to how he got them. This made the cops suspect that Tumbda got them while the girl was struggling to resist the rape.
