The BJP-Shiv Sena government has decided to reserve ten seats- the ones from seat number 3 to 12- and women passengers can avail this facility by reserving the seat a day before the date of the journey.

Ten seats would be reserved in the MSRTC's Shivneri buses for women passengers, and this decision would be implemented on the day of Raksha Bandhan, August 29.
The BJP-Shiv Sena government has decided to reserve ten seats- the ones from seat number 3 to 12- and women passengers can avail this facility by reserving the seat a day before the date of the journey. Minister for Transport Diwakar Raote announced the decision in the state assembly.
At present the Shivneri buses are functional on routes from Dadar-Swargate, Dadar-Pune Station, Borivali-Swargate, Thane-Swargate, Shivaji Nagar-Nashik, and Shivaji Nagar-Aurangabad. Raote added that the government has already decided to keep the seat next to the driver's seat in share taxis in Mumbai reserved for women.
