Pink flamingos take flight from Mumbai's first biodiversity center in Airoli

Calling it one of its kind centre that will not only prove significant for students and researchers but also tourists to understand the need for conservation of wetlands, Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar innagurated the state- of-the-art Coastal and Marine Biodiversity Centre (CMCB) at Airoli.

Calling it one of its kind centre that will not only prove significant for students and researchers but also tourists to understand the need for conservation of wetlands, Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar innagurated the state- of-the-art Coastal and Marine Biodiversity Centre (CMCB) at Airoli.

The centre will serve as gateway to the 'Thane creek  Flamingo century' and will be educational and recreational center focused on coastal and marine biodiversity conservation in Maharashtra.
