10 things I love about my neighbourhood - Zaheer Khan

Lower Parel is centrally located and is the most convenient neighbourhood to be in.

1.   Situated in the heart of the city, it boasts of magnanimous built-up prime properties with premium amenities and infrastructure in place.
2.    Whether one is coming from SoBo or the suburbs, it is likely that the person will spend lesser time commuting to the locations at the opposite ends of a vertically stretched-out city like Mumbai.
3.    Entertainment avenues such as PVR Cinemas, Hard Rock Café, Blue Frog, Busaba, Smaash and many others are perfect hangouts for a quick drink with pals. The local bars and lounges like Li Bai, Manchester United Café, Café Zoe, Irish House and Asilo are ideal for after-work cocktails. They also add to the charm of the burgeoning neighbourhood.
4.    It is a luxurious locality with luxe skyscraper apartments, upscale restaurants and pubs, premium office spaces, luxury hotels and boutiques.
5.    ProSport Fitness, where I work out to keep my fitness levels high, is close by.
6.    The proximity to the Mahalaxmi Race Course and the Worli Seaface is a boon in this concrete jungle.
7.    There is an evident surge in the development of a green cover here, which beautifies one’s experience.
8.    High Street Phoenix and other 5-Star hotels like the Shangri-la, ITC Grand Central and Four Seasons are in the vicinity.
9.    The seaface provides a much sought-after breather for an evening stroll or to just take in the stunning Mumbai sunset.  
10.    It is hard to beat Lower Parel when it comes to convenience and entertainment.
