10 things I love about my neighbourhood: Shalmali Kholgade

I have lived at N Dutta Marg in Andheri (W) for more than two years now. There are so many things that I love about this place but I'm going to narrow it down to ten.

1. I love the fact that despite the crowded streets of Andheri (W), N Dutta Marg is a quaint and peaceful road lined with trees that form a canopy. So even on the hottest day, this street feels a lot cooler than other places.

2. I love that there is a super market, milkman, laundryman and chemist right in my building.

3. All the residents of my building are absolute darlings, and are smiling forever.

4. It takes me exactly 20 minutes to reach the airport from my house.

5. The access roads to Malad and Bandra are equally accessible.

6. A variety of restaurants are located within 15 minutes of where I live. This matters to me since I'm a big foodie.

7. Four theatres are located within 15 minutes from my place.

8. All the recording studios that I need to access for my work are situated within a two-kilometre radius from my building.

9. There are many parks nearby where I love going for a run.

10. It is very easy to give directions to anyone coming to my house, especially the home delivery guys.
