Driver, tutor held for molestation

The Bhayander police on Thursday arrested 2 youth in separate cases of molestation.

Ravindra Dhokne, 21, a tempo driver and resident of Murdha village in Bhayander (West) allegedly molested three minor girls aged 12. He told them to load logs in his tempo and then asked them to board it. Later, he allegedly took them towards Murdha creek and molested them.

In the other incident, a tutor, Rajkumar Machi,19, allegedly molested his eight-year-old Std III student at his house after class.

“Dhokne was caught after the girls started screaming which alerted the passersby. They thrashed him and brought him to the police station. Machi, on the other hand, dismissed all his students early for the day on Wednesday but asked the victim to stay back. He then molested her. The girl told her mother about it,” said Sunil Wadke, senior inspector.
The police have registered a case under section 354 (molestation) against the two.
