People were looking forward to ‘the 1-lakh car’, as it was called, for years. But, when it finally arrived, they didn’t exactly take to it like flies to honey.
There were a few issues with the amount of the kit on offer, the price gradually increasing well past the `1 lakh mark and, frighteningly, cars catching fire.
This time, they’ve added and tweaked a few things without going overboard on the cost. Did they succeed in bringing life back into the Nano? Well, let’s find out.
Exteriors
There aren’t many visible changes on the exterior, the most notable ones being the inclusion of the left side rear view mirror as standard across the range, different hub-caps on the LX variant and different half wheel-caps on the CX. Those who found the choices in colour to be a restrictive can rejoice, It now comes in 10 colours, of which eight are new.
