Workspace as a service, from Satyam

Satyam has launched Workspace-as-a-Service (WaaS) in a bid to take virtualisation in the enterprise segment to the next level.

The hosted managed workspace solution allows virtual desktop computing by allowing customers the flexibility of dedicated, pooled or shared virtual desktops or applications that can be accessed any time, from anywhere, using any device. It has been developed through a combination of Citrix XenDesktop, Windows Server Hyper-V, application-level virtualisation enabled by Microsoft Application Virtualisation (App-V), and management provided by Microsoft System Centre.
