Arturo Beltran Leyva, one of Mexico's most wanted drug traffickers, has died following a gun battle with Mexican security forces, Milenio TV reported.
Milenio said five suspects died in the firefight in the southern city of Cuernavaca including Beltran Leyva, the head of one of the country's leading drug cartels.
The report could not be immediately confirmed.
