Sun Pharma gets US nod for generic Acular

Mumbai: Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd said on Friday its unit secured approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for generic Acular, used in treatment of ocular itching.

The drug is the therapeutic equivalent of Acular Ophthalmic solution Allergan, Inc., it said in a statement to the BSE.
