Copra Rajapur and copra edible prices spurted in the spices market here today due to consistent buying from stockists and traders.

Meanwhile, black pepper declined on subdued domestic as well as overseas demand amid adequate supplies.

Copra Rajapur Mumbai rose by Rs100 per quintal to Rs8,500 from the previous closing level of Rs8,400, while copra edible Mumbai gained Rs100 per quintal to Rs8,000 from Monday's closing level of Rs7,900.

However, black pepper fell by Rs6 per kg to Rs305/325 as compared to Rs311/331 yesterday.
