Mahindra rolls out motorcycles

Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) on Thursday unveiled its much awaited motorcycles.

The company is entering the motorcycle business with the launch of two bikes — Mojo (300 cc) and Stallio (110 cc).

While Mojo will cost a whopping Rs 1,75,000 (ex-showroom Pune), Stallio will come in two versions priced at Rs 44, 699 and Rs 41,199, respectively.

M&M has also roped in Aamir Khan as its brand ambassador for Stallio.

The bikes will be produced at M&M’s Pithampur plant, said Anoop Mathur, president - two wheeler sector. Asked when the bikes would hit the market, he said, “We are in the production phase.

The products will be available by end of 2010 or early 2011 in select markets.”
