London Stock Exchange chief executive Xavier Rolet said he had no concerns over the future of Dubai's stake in the London bourse.
"I am not worried," Rolet said ahead of a hearing on financial transaction taxes at the European Parliament.
He declined to comment on "private conversations" with shareholders.
The Gulf state's Dubai World stunned financial markets last week by announcing a standstill on debt repayment on $26 billion. Dubai holds 20.1% of LSE shares and the state's debt problem raised fears the stake could be sold quickly to raise cash.
