JPMorgan upgrades Bharti Airtel to overweight

JPMorgan said on Monday it had upgraded India's leading mobile operator, Bharti Airtel, to "overweight" from "neutral" and raised its target price to Rs410 from Rs370 earlier.

"Our upgrade is driven by the India wireless segment where we expect pricing stability from H2 FY12 (post the MNP impact)," it said in a note referring to mobile number portability.

At 9.23am (0353 GMT), Bharti shares were down 0.5% at Rs337.50 while the main stock index edged 0.1% higher.
