India gold futures struck a fresh record high of Rs17,634 per 10 gm on Wednesday morning helped by overseas leads. The December contract was trading at Rs17,621 per 10 gm, up 0.52% at 10:02 am.
The contract breached the previous record of Rs17,624, struck on November 23.
