Prominent personalities in media and films from across the country would converge here on December 1 and 2 to discuss various issues concerning the industry.
The FICCI Media & Entertainment Business Conclave (MEBC 2010) would deliberate on a range of issues confronting the business of media and entertainment like the initiatives of the Andhra Pradesh government for the media and entertainment sector, rise of regional channels, safeguarding vernacular cinema and penetrating international markets.
Chairman of Ramoji Group, Ramoji Rao, would deliver the key note address. Among other prominent participants include Subhash Ghai, Ajay Vidyasagar, COO, Sun TV Networks, R Sarathkumar, actor and president, South Indian Artists Association, FICCI said in a release.
Leading filmmakers Karan Johar, Bobby Bedi, founder and MD, Kaleidoscope India, Anthony Waye, executive producer, Bond Pictures, will lay bare the high points and challenges of the journey into international markets, it said.
