Bank of America Corp appointed Mukesh Ambani as a director on Wednesday, expanding the board of the largest US bank by assets with its first non-American citizen.
Ambani, 53, headed Reliance Industries, a petrochemical company that is India's largest private business with $44.6 billion in annual revenue.
Ambani becomes BofA's 14th director. It is unclear what board committees he will work on.
