Air connectivity to the Sahara group-owned Amby Valley City, located between Mumbai and Pune, will be launched tomorrow with five flights per week between Mumbai and the City.
Another flight would connect Aamby Valley with Delhi.
The flight services would be operated by regional airline, Air One.
"Flight operations would commence from tomorrow," Sahara India managing worker and chairman, Subrata Roy, told reporters in the presence of Union civil aviation minister, Praful Patel, today.
"Amby Valley City is being developed with a view of making it the most sought-after address and the first-home for many. These services will add to the best living experience of Aamby Valley City citizens and visitors," Roy said.
After Mumbai and Delhi, flight services would be introduced to connect other cities as well, he added.
The city is currently home to around 800 residents, he said.
Sahara has invested Rs80 crore in the private airport which has been opened for commercial use for the first time.
