Fintech start-up Zeta aims to bring 25 lakh users on its platform in the next three years, enthused by the huge focus on Digital India.

Zeta provides corporates a single digital interface for paperless reimbursements to their employees. The company claims at present one lakh employees from about 700 corporations use Zeta cards and apps to pay for tax benefit reimbursements.

"Since November 2016 there is a huge focus by government on digitalisation. In terms of growth trajectory, in the first year of operation we have already got on board one lakh employees. In the next three years, we are targeting 2.5 million employees on-board," Zeta, Chief Technology Officer and co-founder, Ramki Gaddipati said in an interaction.

He added that due to the huge focus on digitisation, there are big opportunities for Zeta to expand.

Employees using Zeta solutions can pay towards their employer provided tax benefits against medical allowances, fuel recharge, travel allowances, meal vouchers and communication facilities.

Of these, medical benefits and meal vouchers are big hit as employees consume the allowances quickly, he said.

The company has also launched its services over RuPay cards. Before this, it had an exclusive tie-up with Mastercard gateway only.

"The partnership will widen Zeta's payment network and push for a more inclusive adoption of digital payments in corporate India," Ramki said.

Besides, the company is working to bring its services on Aadhaar Pay grid, he said.
