Facebook COO, Sheryl Sandberg said that men still run the world and that she is not sure that it is going that well.

Speaking at a session on the future of work in Davos and Sandberg who was surrounded by Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella and President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, said that with 17 out of hundreds of countries in the world are run by women, which means that we are not using the full talent of the population.

This was in reference to the latest data released by UN that women only constitute 22% of all national parliamentarians in the world. Out of that only 11 women serve as head of state, and 10 serve as head of government, said a World Economic Forum report said.

In the US too while women account for almost half of the college-educated workforce, only 19% hold board seats, and only 4.6% are CEOs.

The Annual Meeting themed 'Mastering the Fourth Industrial Revolution' is taking place at Davos from January 20 to 23.
