Sometime last year, a girl named Sasha Chettri entered the lives of the Indian TV audience and left an impression so hard that she was the most talked about at one point of time. She totally fits the adage-- "You can like her, you can hate her, but you cannot ignore her."

Sasha was better known later as The Airtel 4G girl, who went around doling out the Airtel challenge to anyone and everyone. Her face had become synonymous to the Airtel brand. But at the same time, she became the victim of several trolls too.

However, in the latest ad, The Airtel 4G girl takes a dig at herself. She, for the first time, admits that she may not know about ALL the services provided by Airtel 4G! Shocking!

The five new ads which are set in picturesque locations show Sasha on a vacation with her friends. These ads have been conceptualised by Taproot Dentsu. These set of new ads try to prove that Airtel has the widest 4G network in India.

In one ad, set in Umiam Lake of Shillong, her friends describe her as "Famous on TV, non-stop, loud speaker." Sasha in reply agrees, saying, "Thoda over ho gaya...Glad we are here, 4G se bhi break, public se bhi break!"

But Sasha is dumbfounded when a little girl from the tribes of Shillong starts playing a song on her phone and tells Sasha that she is using 4G.

Yes, gone are the days, when the Airtel girl would give long, tiring monologues about how Airtel was the best. No more, "Lifetime mobile bills free." Because this time, she herself doesn't know.

In another ad, she is in Shimla enjoying with her friends who tell her how she used to indulge in "Full time Yak-Yak!" But once again she is surprised to see that Airtel's 4G network reaches the chilly mountains of Shimla.

But, we are thankful that she won't ruin our vacations anymore like she has in the past:

She won't ask you to stay back in the theatre after watching a movie or make you listen to her explain why 'Gol nahin hai duniya'.

We appreciate Airtel for coming up with such ads that make fun of their own previous attempts to prove their point.
