The sixth edition of TiEcon Conference, aimed at helping budding entrepreneurs, would be held in November in Chennai. For the first time, the conference would be held in Coimbatore and Madurai apart from Chennai, TiE Chennai President Lakshmi Narayanan said today.
The two-day event, which would help budding entrepreneurs to get funds for their new business ventures besides fostering links with other successful businesspersons, would be held on November 11 and 12 and will attract over 1,200 delegates comprising entrepreneurs, investors, bankers, academicians and students. "Several companies have benefited from the opportunities provided by the TiE platform and obtained investments from Angel investors. This is our sixth conference in Chennai and we are happy to provide budding entrepreneurs an opportunity to be one step closer to their dreams", he said in a release.
The theme for the conference would be "Believe, Build, Become", Narayanan said, adding this year TiE Chennai Entrepreneur Award would also be presented. TiE has 61 chapters across 17 countries with 13,000 members, the statement added.
