Tata Motors, the maker of Nano to Jaguar brands of cars said that its wholesales for the month of December 2014 were up 8%, at 85,742 units. These numbers include its sales from the high-end Jaguar and Land Rover brands.

Tata Motors, the maker of Nano to Jaguar brands of cars said that its wholesales for the month of December 2014 were up 8%, at 85,742 units. These numbers include its sales from the high-end Jaguar and Land Rover brands.
The cumulative wholesales for the fiscal, however, fell by 5% as compared to the same period last year.
The company said that its global commercial vehicle sales grew by 4% in December 2014 as against the same month of 2013.The cumulative wholesales for the fiscal dropped by 18%, at 2,77,215 units.
It further reported a growth of 29% in its total passenger vehicle sales for the month of December 2014 but the cumulative passenger vehicle wholesales for the fiscal fell by 13%.
Jaguar and Land Rover (JLR) sales for the given month jumped 7% (42,962 units) as against the same month last fiscal. Out of which, Jaguar contributed 6,816 units and rest came from Land Rover. Cumulative wholesales for JLR were up by 10%, at 3,41,318 units.
