To keep the festive mood going, the e-commerce marketplace Snapdeal has a lot in store for consumers till Diwali is here.

After getting a massive response from the first phase of its festive sale -- 'Dil ki deal' -- Snapdeal will continue its sale series every Monday till Diwali. The 'Fashion Monday sale' will host offers till Diwali starting from October 26.

“Snapdeal Fashion Monday sale will bring the widest assortment of fashion products to customers at attractive prices. Leading Indian and international brands will be available on the marketplace starting from midnight," said Snapdeal Vice President, Category Management, Rahul Taneja.

Like its festive sale, the e-commerce giant is confident that this Fashion Monday sale will be a blockbuster, Taneja said.

"For the first time, there will be exclusive discounts on premium brands like FCUK, Tommy Hilfiger, GANT, Clarks and designer brands like Ritu Kumar, Manish Arora and others," Snapdeal has said in a release.

The sale includes ten lakh-plus products for women across fashion accessories, footwear and jewellery; five lakh products from men's fashion, and one lakh options for kids's fashion, footwear and toys, on brands like Disney, Barbie, UCB, 612 League, Nauti Nati and Fisher Price.

The company saw a 17-fold growth in sales, 10-times growth in orders, and and a five-fold increase in users during the first mega sale of the season that went underway on October 12 that focussed on electronics, Taneja said.

According to a tweet by Anand Chandrasekaran, Chief Product Officer at Snapdeal, at the peak of Diwali sale, the company platform saw over 52,000 orders every hour.

Last week, the three major e-commerce players in the country went head on into festive season sales. This included Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal.

Despite massive competition, all the three emerged as massive gainers. Even the customers emerged victorious with lucrative discounts in nearly every category -- clothes, electronics, home decor, books, and so on.

Flipkart has said that it managed to sell 10 lakh products within 10 hours of the first day of its Big billion sale, which continued for five days as against the single day sale last year. This is also the first time that Myntra took part in the sale too. On Day 3, it claimed it had sold half a million mobile phones in 10 hours. What's interesting is that this year, the Big billion day sale was app-only.

Amazon, on the other hand, promised next-morning delivery for late-night orders as well as the chance to win a kg of gold every day for five days, to attract customers. It claimed that all its top deals were grabbed in less than 30 minutes of going live.
