SC orders Parsvnath Developers to deposit Rs 12 crore for project delay

The Supreme Court has directed Parsvnath Developers to deposit Rs 12 crore within four weeks.

The order came on Thursday, while the apex court also rejected the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission's (NCDRC) plea to stay a order asking the company to refund the customers' money within four months. 

According to a LiveMint report, Exotica project in Gaziabad hit a roadblock after the Gaziabad Development Authority (GDA) quashed a revised plan of construction. 

The real estate company had told the apex court earlier that it will be a year before the project is completed.
