Radio network 93.5 Red FM today announced fresh advertising tariffs for new stations along with the revised rates for existing frequencies.

The annual review of advertising tariffs at Red FM has resulted in a rate hike of 15 to 20 per cent, the radio network said in a statement.

"The ultimate goal to make radio a feasible and flexible medium of advertising has not fallen out of focus," Red FM COO Nisha Narayanan said.

The operator has also reviewed its strategy and aims at becoming a tough competition to the existing players and strengthening its presence in new cities.

Narayanan said Red FM plans of "becoming a well-differentiated, formidable competitor to existing players in the market and also, strengthening its presence in newer cities with decisive speed".

Red FM, which is one of the largest radio networks in the country will soon be launched in Amritsar, Chandigarh, Surat and Patna.
