PVR posts 5% drop in net profit in Jul-sep; shares down

PVR Ltd posted a 4.9% drop in its consolidated net profit in the July - September quarter compared to the same period last year, according to a Cogencis news alert.

In Jul-Sep 2015, the multiplex company had posted a net profit of Rs 30.64 crore. 

PVR posted net sales of Rs 540 crore, up 17.39% from the Rs 460 crore posted in the same period last year. 

PVR's shares were down 1.15% at Rs 1,215 apiece from previous day's close.
