In his one year of being the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has tried to boost the economy of India and kept his promise of creating a strong foreign policy for the people of India.
“I as the Prime Minister of India, I will follow all my duties with a pure heart,” said, PM Modi at his swearing in ceremony last year.
These are the sectors which has seen a difference in its figures in the last one year:
* With the help of his 'Make in India' initiative, PM Modi has been successful in boosting the production of India. The index of Industrial Production Growth has increased to 2.8% in 2014-15. The figure was (-)0.1% in 2013-14 which says that the IIP growth has increased by 2.9%.

* The electricity generation sector saw the highest growth in two decades. The growth which was 6% in 2013-14, now stands at 8.4%.

* There is a 27% increase in the energy capacity from 17,769 MW last year to 22,566 MW this year.
* In order to electrify the entire nation, PM Modi has increased the transmission lines which rose by 32%. The total area covered in 2014-15 is 22,101 kms.

* Coal production saw a massive surge in its production during the last one year. The coal production increase this year has been higher than the increase in previous four years, according to the SaalEkShuruaatAnek website.

* India's Forex reserves rose by 13% and the figure stands at $352,1 Billion.

* Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also helped the poor and empowered them with financial inclusion. Number of bank accounts which were opened from March 2010 to March 2014 were 4.24 crore and in the last one year the numbers rose to 15.59 crore.

* Foreign Direct Investment Equity has seen a 39% boost in its inflows which rose to $28,813 Million from $20,766 Million.

* To connect India through roads and make transportation easy, PM Modi has awarded a 120% increase in the Highway Projects from last year.

* PM Modi has boosted the road infrastructure as well. Roads constructed through Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana rose significatly by 46% in 2014-15 and habitations rose by 68%.

* The Wholesale Price Index decreased to (-)2.65% in April 2015 from 5.55% in the corresponding month of last year.

* Prices of household items such as rice, potato, vegetables, fibres and non-food articles also decreased significantly this year. Even food and beverages inflation diminised.

* Through his 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan', PM Modi has been successful in building 58,55,666 toilets in India in last one year.

* India saw an inflow of foreign tourists and foreign exchange earnings also increased. Number of foreign tourist arrivals increased by 8.1% in 2014-15 and foreign exchange earnings through tourism rose by 10%.
