Maruti opens online booking for Baleno RS

Homegrown carmaker Maruti Suzuki has opened online booking for its high-performance Baleno RS, it informed the BSE. The Baleno RS can be booking through the NEXA website.

The Baleno RS will be the first high-performance car to be sold at NEXA and will be launched on March 3, 2017. It can be booked online for a token amount of Rs 11,000. 

The Baleno RS will be the first in a line of high-performance cars from Maruti. 

The Baleno RS will draw power from the 1.0-litre BOOSTERJET Direct Injection Turbo engine. The RS will only get one variant, and will come equipped with SmartPlay Infotainment system. 

The Baleno RS comes as a follow-up to the now-very popular Baleno hatch which is also sold through the NEXA showroom.
