Marico Q4 net up at Rs 110 crore

FMCG firm Marico today reported a 23.94 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 110.03 crore for the quarter ended March 31.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 88.77 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago, it said in a BSE filing.

Marico's net sales during the quarter under review went up by 14.31 per cent at Rs 1,222.98 crore compared with Rs 1,069.81 crore in the year-ago period.

In the year ended March 31, Marico reported net profit of Rs 573.45 crore against a net profit of Rs 485.38 crore in the previous fiscal.

Marico's net sales in the year stood at Rs 5,720.28 crore compared with Rs 4,676.18 crore in the previous fiscal year.
