Kingfisher applies for flying permit renewal

Grounded following worker issues recently, Kingfisher Airlines applies for renewal of flying permit, official sources said a day after the DGCA asked the airline to furnish a complete revival plan.

Earlier in the week, Kingfisher promoter Vijay Mallya said he was ready to infuse funds, estimated to be in the region of Rs425 crore, into the airline to restart operation in phased manner as and when DGCA gives the go-ahead.
