The social network hubhopper that's a gateway to everything awesome happening on the web has a community for just about everything with a one of a kind digital remote that helps its users tailor-make their experience in real time.

Now, the Delhi based user-adaptive social network that's been making waves has just raised an undisclosed amount.

Devraj Sanyal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Universal Music Group and EMI Music, South Asia, said that Hubhopper is the platform, where users will put up the mad stuff they discover on the web and others like them will decide whether that thing is awesome or not.

He noted, "There is a community for just about anything and you always see exactly what you want because you have real time control. With the sudden wave of noise on the web, the future lies in platforms such as these that empower its users with control of their experience."

The funding will be used to scale technology and build core talent. Hubhopper also plans to research and build on facilitating more user adaptive features and further user control, giving users an experience unlike one they have seen before on such platforms.

Founder and CEO Gautam Raj Anand added, "The next 12 months are extremely exciting for us as we take this platform to the next level and build on our core team."

The network is now in active talks with various institutional fund managers in India and Singapore for their subsequent round.
