I am a 'bhakt' of competence, action and good governance, says Anand Mahindra

It all started when Anand Mahindra, Chairman and Managing Director retweeted Power Minister Piyush Goyal's tweet about providing transparency in rural electrification.

To this, a twitter user said Anand Mahindra is also a 'Bhakt' and Mahindra reverted by confessing that yes, he is one.

Anand Mahindra is known as a man of good deeds and his counter has been praised by a lot of people. He is being referred to as a true leader.

Terming the tweet as a confusion, the user said, "@anandmahindra Sir..I think People have missed out the Bhakt in quotes..I hope U got me correctly..;) " He said that the "Bhakt" was in quotes and it was a satire on our Presstitudes and sickulars .

Mahindra also did a noble task by shutting down a fountain at his office in Mumbai when a person on Twitter grabbed his attention and said, "@anandmahindra fountain at mahindra towers at time of severe drought in Mah. Guess can be avoided."

A day later, Anand Mahindra promised to shut down the fountain as it "sends the wrong signal". He tweeted saying, "It's recirculated water & no wastage. But you're right, sends the wrong signal. We'll shut it down."
