Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) on Friday reported 3.4% rise in total sales at 51,452 units in March this year.
The company had sold 49,740 units in the same month last year, HMIL said in a statement.
In the domestic market, the company's sales rose up 4.2% to 41,201 units last month as compared to 39,525 units in March 2015.
However, the company's exports rose marginally to 10,251 units as against 10,215 units in the year-ago period.
For the financial year 2015-16, the company has posted its highest ever sales with a rise of 15.1% to 4,84,324 units as compared to 4,20,668 units in 2014-15
HMIL's senior Vice-President (Sales and Marketing) Rakesh Srivastava said the company has achieved the best ever sales due to a strong performance of models like Creta, Elite i20 and Grand i10.
