Here's how PM Modi's China visit stack up against Xi's visit to India

Agreements signed in 2014 comprised of the Chinese investing in Indian infrastructure. China had committed to invest $20 billion in five years for this purpose.

Narendra Modi in his visit to China has signed 24 agreements with the Chinese. The agreement includes promoting Education Exchange Programme and Mining and Minerals Sector.

Mahatma Gandhi National Institute for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship is to be set up in Gujarat to promote vocational education and skill development.

They have signed an agreement to promote understanding between Doordarshan and China Central Television to enhance cooperation in the field of broadcasting.

Apart from last year's agreement to foster mutual understanding to enhance people­-to-­people exchanges by establishing Sister-­City relations between Mumbai, Gujarat and China, they have signed an agreement this year also to establish Sister-­City relationship between Chennai, Hyderabad, Aurangabad and China.

They have also signed an agreement to establish Sister­-State relationship between Karnataka and China.

There were 16 agreements signed between Xi Jinping and Narendra Modi when the PM visited China for the first time, last year.

An agreement on audio visual co­production was also signed alongside two documents on railways to help Indian Railways system up­to­date with upgraded railway stations.

They had also signed an agreement where China had pledged to set up industrial parks in Gujarat and Maharashtra.

The Chinese had also agreed to give more market access to Indian products.

1. Two documents on railways to help Indian railways system up-to-date with upgraded railway stations.

1. Enhance cooperation in Railway sector (2015-16)

2. Agreement on Audio Visual Co-production which will give both the countries an opportunity to pool their creative, artistic, technical, financial and marketing resources to co-produce films.

2. Understanding between Doordarshan and China Central Television to enhance cooperation in the field of broadcasting.

3. Foster mutual understanding to enhance people-to-people exchanges by establishing Sister-City relations between Mumbai, Gujarat and China.

1. China to support industrial development by setting up industrial parks in Maharashtra and Gujarat.

2. The two sides will carry out cooperation in fields of drug standards, traditional medicine and drug testing, etc.

3. An agreement to collaborate between various cultural institutions of the two countries which include museums, archaeological organizations and performing art centers.

4. Enhance market access to Indian products such as agricultural, pharmaceutical and export of services.

5. Opening a New Route for Indian Pilgrimage (Kailash Mansarovar Yatra) to the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China.

6. China had committed to invest $20 billion in five years for infrastructure.

1. Set up Mahatma Gandhi National Institute for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in Gujarat to promote cooperation in the field of Vocational Education and Skill Development.

2. Establish Sister-State relationship between Karnataka and China.

3. Establish a Center for Gandhian and Indian studies.

4. Establish Yoga College.

5. Promote Education Exchange Programme.

6. Promote Mining and Minerals Sector.

7. Promote the field of Tourism.

8. Agreement to promote understanding between India's NITI Aayog and China's Development Research Center.

9. Cooperation in the field of Earthquake Sciences, Earthquake Engineering, Climate Change, Ocean Technology and Ocean Sciences.

10. Cooperation between Ministry of land and resources of India and China.

11. Rules on Health and safety regulations on importing Rapeseed Meal (seeds of Rape-Plant chiefly used for vegetable oil) between the two countries  

12. Establishment of States/Provincial leaders' forum.
