Delighted gold lovers are in for a bonanza as decline in the price of the yellow metal this festive season inspired jewellers in Rajasthan to come up with various attractive offers. Gold had reached its peak in August 2013 per ten gram, but then onwards the metal witnessed a gradual decline in its price.

"Because the prices have come down, we believe that people will throng to buy gold as they will see it as a great opportunity. Since this is also the festive season, all of us jewellers have come up with offers which will give the customers further benefits. I would ask people that they should buy as much gold as they can this festive season, keeping in mind the fall in prices," said a jeweller, Girish Poddar.

Bullion expert, Harish Galipelli, from Inditrade Derivative and Commodities Ltd., said that demand for gold will largely remain unaffected mainly due to traditional reasons such as offering gifts and decorating Hindu temples.

Buyers are delighted with the fall in prices as they throng markets to purchase it to their heart's content. "We are very happy that the prices have fallen during the festive season and that is the reason we are here for shopping," said Sangeeta.
