After a dramatic resignation letter that went viral on social media, Rahul Yadav has decided to stay on as CEO of housing.com. 

According to a press release issued by the organisation,  Rahul Yadav has apologised to the board members for his comment and has decided to stay onboard. 

The board in it's part has reaffirmed its faith in Rahul Yadav's vision at Housing.

Rahul commented that "After some frank and healthy discussions with the Board I have agreed to withdraw my resignation and I apologize for my unacceptable comments about the board members.  I look forward to staying on at Housing as CEO and building an even greater company, while working in full harmony with the board".

Earlier Rahul created splash in the social media after his resignation letter got leaked,. He wrote 

Investors had raised their concerns earlier with Yadav's strategy which led to a public spat between him and managing director of Sequoia Capital Shailendra Singh. 

Japan's Softbank has invested Rs 550 crore in Housing.Com valuing the startup at Rs 1500 crore.  Softbank's Vice-Chairman, Nikesh Arora has already vacated his place on the board of Housing.Com last month. 

Rahul Yadav earlier also had attracted controversy after public spat with Sequoia India in an email and Quora over poaching of employees and also grabbed eyeballs when he took on Magicbricks.
