Brancusi is widely considered across the world as the main promoter of the non-figurative art during twentieth century Europe. The exhibition comprises of a series of works by Romanian contemporary artists, whose vision and artistic endeavors are relevant and applicable to Brancusi’s conceptualisation. The unique show will be on till January 18 at gallery NGMA.

Professor Rajiv Lochan, the director of the National gallery says, “It is important to note that Brancusi was highly influenced by the Indian Buddhist culture too. In fact, he had spent two hours with the then Maharaja of Indore discussing Indian art and sculptures.”
