Sony Xperia XZ Premium with Snapdragon 835 processor launched in India at Rs 59,990

Sony announced the Xperia XZ Premium, the first smartphone to launch with the Snapdragon 835 processor in India. It is priced at Rs 59,990 and will be available via Amazon India. It will be available in Luminous Chrome and Deep sea Black color variant. Pre-bookings for the Xperia XZ Premium begin June 2. Customers who pre-book the device will receive a Sony SRS-XB20 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker worth Rs 8,990, for free.

In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch 4K IPS LCD display with a 3840x2160 pixel resolution. It sports Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM. Running Android Nougat, the device includes an internal storage of 64GB which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

It comes equipped with a 19MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash along with a 13MP front-facing camera. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C (3.1) and a 3.5mm audio jack. A 3230mAh battery completes the package.
