In between the endless rumours for the upcoming iPhone 8, new reports regarding the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus models have emerged online which share design details.

9to5Mac received photos from Apple serial tipster Sonny Dickson who shared a dummy model for the ‘iPhone 7s Plus’, one of three new phones Apple is said to be launching this year.

It looks like Apple might introduce glass backs, instead of going with aluminium. The report pointed out that the antenna bands appear to have gone completely in this dummy, presumably as glass allows antenna signals to freely pass through the material, whereas aluminium blocks most of the signals.

It is also believed that the phones will support inductive charging. In terms of specifications, the new models could be packed with A11 processors for better performance and a base-model storage bump to 64GB. These devices are rumoured to be priced at $650 and $769 respectively.

As the upcoming iPhone 8 is expected to be delayed and also, priced over $1100, Apple's iPhone 7s lineup could turn out to be a cheaper alternative for customers.

A recent report pointed out that Apple might just kill of one of iPhone’s most iconic design. According to hidden code, accidentally released by Apple, hints at the fact the home button might disappear on the iPhone 8.

According to Independent, pictures found in the code that appear to depict the new phone, for instance, show the design including some of the "forehead" that sits at the top, but none of the "chin" at the bottom that houses the button. As such, there appears to be no space for a physical home button and it will presumably be depicted on screen instead, as it is on Android, the report added. The virtual button on the device will be able to disappear when it's not needed.

The iPhone 8 has been one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year. And also continues to have numerous leaks on the same. The company will most likely switch to a vertical layout for its rear camera setup as well. This is due to Apple’s ‘big drive’ into augmented reality. The iPhone 8 will most likely sport a lighting port and there will be no switch to USB Type-C.
