Commentary :
0.0 : A warm welcome to everyone for the second game of the ODI series between South Africa and Bangladesh played in Paarl. The hosts literally trampled down the visitors in the first game to romp home to a win. As much as they would love to do the same here, they would like to be challenged a bit more. The tourists bowling woes are refusing to end and they would want to shrug off the string of losses as quickly as possible. It would be interesting to see the team combinations that both the sides opt
TOSS - Bangladesh win the toss and opt to field. Both sides make one change each. The hosts bring in Farhaan Behardien for the injured David Miller while for the visitors the fit-again Tamim Iqbal replaces Mohammad Saifuddin.
The national anthems are done and dusted and we are set to get underway. The set up at the ground seems all good for a wonderful game of cricket. The openers Quinton de Kock and Hashim Amla stride out with the bat. They would aim to provide their side with a flying start yet again. With an aim to prevent just that, skipper Mashrafe Mortaza will steam in with the first brand new ball. Two slips in place. Let's play says the umpire.

0.4 : M Mortaza to de Kock, A well-run, quick single gets Quinton going. He taps it from the crease towards the off side and sets off for a run. A slight hesitation from him but Amla was always intent on running that and he completes the run with ease.

Served in the channel of uncertainty outside off, Amla feels for it and only manages a thin edge that Rahim happily accepts. A wonderful knock by the bearded batsman comes to an end. Good end from Bangladesh, SOUTH AFRICA FINISH ON 353/6!
What a scintillating batting display from the Proteas! After losing the toss and being put into bat, Amla and de Kock were once again solid. They provided the perfect impetus but when they were running away with the show, Shakib sent de Kock packing. The skipper, du Plessis departed straightaway to a jaffa in the same over. A bit of wobble for the home side didn't trouble them though.
AB de Villiers, who was making a comeback, took his time to begin with. After he was set, he entered into his destructive best. He tore the Bangladeshi attack apart, deflating their morale. The visitors didn't have any answer to his beast mode. The home side accumulated 98 in the last 10 overs but lost some momentum towards the end.
Credit to the tourists for being on the money at the death. 375 was on the cards but the pace bowlers only conceded 14/3 in the last 3 overs. Still, it is an uphill task for Bangladesh on a track where the ball is stopping on odd occasions. The South Africans are favourites but stranger things have happened in cricket. Join us for the chase shortly.
