0.0 : Hello and a warm welcome to the 32nd game of the Indian T20 League between Kolkata and Delhi at Eden Gardens. The hosts have had a superb tournament so far and are currently at the top of the table. They have lost just two games and if they win every game from hereon, they will have a record 12 wins in the league stage.
The visitors on the other hand are currently at the bottom of the table but they have played less matches compared to others. As seen thus far this year, the Kolkata pitch is the most suitable for the pacers. So the two teams with the best pace attack in this season, taking on each other at the ground most suitable for them, sets up an enticing game.
TOSS - Kolkata win the toss and opt to bowl.
Gautam Gambhir says that they will bowl first. Feels it's a good wicket and might get a bit better under the lights. Adds they have played only one afternoon game and it's better to chase when you play those. Further says they need to be on top as Delhi are a dangerous side because of some quality bowlers. Ends by saying they have made 2 changes - Nathan Coulter-Nile and Sheldon Jackson come in for Darren Bravo and Piyush Chawla.
Zaheer Khan says that we were looking to bat first as Kolkata is a chasing team. Adds that with both teams getting what they wish for sets up to be a good battle. Opines that they need some results under their belt. Hopes to create some winning momentum in the coming matches. Informs that they have made just a change - Ankit Bawne comes in for Aditya Tare.

Kolkata will be pretty pleased with their efforts with the ball! They have conceded just 24 runs in the last 4 overs and that should tell you how beautifully they bowled in the death overs. Delhi started off really well with Samson and Nair. Once the latter departed, Shreyas Iyer continued the good work. He along with Samson accounted for a 75-run stand and it seemed like the visitors will make it big.
However, the 16th over from Nathan Coulter-Nile turned the tides in the hosts' favour as he picked up two wickets in the same over. Delhi found it difficult to score towards the end as the home side were right on the money. Coulter-Nile was the standout bowler, picking up a 3-fer. Once again their spinners Narine and Kuldeep were magnificent in their respective spells to dry up the runs.
The target that is set looks to be an easy one considering the way Kolkata has been chasing so far but mind you, Delhi do have the bowling attack to restrict them. Join us in a bit to see if Kolkata win 2 out of 2 against the men from the capital city this season...
