Sheriff Indu Shahani hosted a tea party at her home for Cherie Blair — Indophile and wife of the erstwhile Prime Minister of UK —to which she invited her friends. Dolly Thakore was among  the first guests to arrive. Bijal Meswani was seen in conversation with Bakul Patel while Sabira Merchant was spotted speaking to Mrs Blair at length. The former British first lady inquired after each of the guests making sure she was introduced to everyone. Aftab Shivdasani was one of the last persons to arrive, while Blair was cutting the cake. American consul general  Paul Folmsbee and Israeli consul general Orna Sagiv were present, as were Chhaya Momaya and Zeba Kohli.
